I recently met Bay Area folksinger Claudia Russell, whose father was Val Rosing, the British gent who sang that seminal version of Teddy Bears' Picnic that so many of us seem to know.
She very kindly turned me on to an album of his music, and lordy, that tune really got under my skin. I just hadda do an arrangement of it.
This one is a real Frankenstein monster; part march, part jazz, part rock ... even a little cowboy flavor got in there, somehow. I dunno.
Feel free to download a PDF of the tablature here, and while you're at it, why not grab the MIDI file here. MP3 ASAP. |
